Support Your Students!

While students are working hard to learn about sexual education, it is important to support them and make sure they are comfortable and aware of how the teacher can help them along through this process.

Some tips to ensure the learning follows responsible design are;

1) Do your best to listen to what your student is saying. Do not judge or try to persuade their opinion. If a question is uncomfortable to answer then direct them to a website or perhaps their parent.
2) Make sure to maintain your student-teacher relationships. Be open and welcoming to your students, as per usual.
3) Do not make anything more uncomfortable than it has to be, the students are uncomfortable as it is so be sure to set the model of maturity when teaching these lessons.
